Nuno felting
The long fibers in the merino wool are excellent for nuno felting.You can actually do it with other kind of wool as well. It needs a little more work of course. You will need a table, soap (olive or other greasy kind) and cold
water. By slowly rubbing thin layers of wool on to the soft transparent material the fibers attach themselves to the silk. Then wrap the whole work around a plastic or a foam roll. Rock it for a good half an hour the open it and you’ll see the magic! You have created a fine piece of soft material maybe a scarf or a picture to be framed.

Natures part
My inspiration often comes from walking in nature. The constant change of the sea color, the waves in the sand, trees, clouds, you name it!
Putting layers of different shades side by side or across each other creates
the most surprising outcome. By time you can chose a specific pattern and motive for your work. |
